I actually like the helmet, but not the rest for that warr set.

I think some ppl would agree to comment, that the warrior helmet does not really fit in with the rest of the armor set. kinda like the use of armorer helms w/ +1 to attribute. (hope they have a different design for those this time around).

It is like the warr fow set. a lot of ppl just get the helm bcuz they like the normal droks or 15k sets enough but want a +1 attribute helm w/ a nicer graphic.

If anyone remembers the other warr armor from guildwars.com front page, w/ the "batman-like" helmet (me thinks, that one is better and the whole set is more "sync'd" or fits better together). Im guessing that's more a "kurzick" style and this one is the "luxon" style (from the latest ign interview). I just hope there's more to choose from than just "2" different armor styles for each professions just bcuz there's only "2" factions.

BTW, for those with the CGW article (Feb issue with Assassin on cover), it has the Female Warrior version of that same Armor.

I gotta say, like most things, the Female Version looks better.

Ironic, isn't it Kool Pajamas?

Let's face it, we are visual beings. One of the big attractions of Factions will be new armor, weapons and skins.

I mean, honestly, when a game basically boils down to throwing numbers around, there has to be something to keep it fun to watch, right?

but preorder items are CRAP - total crap - i dont want to discuss assasin daggers 'cos i dunno whats max dam for assasin weapons, but look at this staff - where's suffix? after all korean coke items and japanese preorder items with great stats they're giving us completely useless weapon - fyi 10/10 recharge/fastcast stat can be found on huge amount on staves now - both green and gold - u just have to check ventari sell - but wheres +30hp/+20%enchants or +1att/20% or any new suffixes?

i was thinking about getting preorder for unique preorder items but i'm not sure i need this junk... mid-game chest drops are better than this staff... and all retailers'll have same preorder items so i cant get anything else (compare to at least 6 coke items and japan preorder items)....
First of all the dagger is max. It's poisonous which seems nice, and it's + dmg while enchanted. While enchanted stuff isn't always that great, but the assasin has a lot of personal enchant skills so it's nice. I've heard that these items can be modded, meaning you've got this good communing staff with a perfect insightful mod and then the second mod is up to you. Some guy already said anyway, these items are to help give you a slight boost in early PvE, and to just tote around like you're teh sauce. It's not like they're there to dominate all throughout the entire span of the game. And of course it's understandable that they're gonna give asia better pre-order items. They've just released it over there so they're trying to do w/e they can to make it appealing since they're starting their campaign from scratch. America has already got a strong foundation so we don't get the bestzor itemz. w/e. If you care that much then just don't get the pre-order. But don't whine because GW doesn't spoon-feed you super-dee-duper items. Even so, I think these items are pretty great. I'm a big fan of the 10/10 all spells items.

what I want to know is this: will the Assassin and Ritualist be able to get different armor versions from the crafters in chapter 1? I plan to merge my chapter 2 account so that all my characters can access everything, and that is the top-of-mind question I have right now.
